REAR ARMS
REPLACING THE RUBBER BUSHES
Important :
In order to prevent the rear arm from
being damaged, thereby affecting the rear su s·
pension adversely, it 1s essential to remove the
shoulder of the bush with the cutter L .
Removal
· Cl<1np the rear
am
in o vice fitted with soft
jaws.
· Use the cutter L
in
a drill with a maximum
speed of 600 r.p.m.
· Cut the bush, either dry or using broke fluid,
progre ssively to ovoid overheating the cutter L.
· Stop cutting as soon as the shoulder 1s re·
leased.
· Do not continue cutting once the shoulder hos
been cut from the bush.
