FRONT SU SPEN S ION
REFITTING A FRONT SUSPENSION ELEMENT
• Carefully fit the cup equipped with its seal on
the rod. Engage 1t until the thrust washer comes
into contact with the spring.
·Fully tighten the closing nut on the body and
tighten to 58 ft . lb s (8 m.kg) using socket G.
·Hand check the rod rotation and displacement.
• Pull the shock absorber rod fully out.
·Fit clomp L on the rod os indicated on drawing
opposite. Tighten firmly using two screws.
• Ins to

rubber boot on the shoe k absorber rod.
·Hold sus pension element horizontally in o vice.
• Place rebound buffer t hrust ring on o lead base
w 1tl- the seo I recess foe ing upwards .
• On drift E, place sea l ring with its lips pressed
ogo 1nst the dr ift.
·Fit the seal by topping on the drift until the
sea I bottoms.
