BRAKES
REPLACING A REAR DISC
- Securing the hub nut.
- Clean disc surface with moths.
- Re'
t
calipcr, mating faces in contact and all
threads clean.
- Mount each bolt (brushed clean) with :
- a new "Blocfor" lock washer.
- a few drops of Loctite (standard grade).
- Torque nut to, 31 ft/lbs. (4,25 m.kg.).
- Replace
pads.
-Torque to, 12.7 It/lbs. (1,75 m.kg.).
- Replace drive shaft.
- Torque nut to, 181 ft/lbs. (25 m.kg.) and stake.
- With the vehicle on the ground and 2 • penons
seated in the rear, torque rear suspe11s1on arm
pivot to, 47 ft/ lbs. (6,5 m.kg.).
