5th ADJUSTMENT
ADJUSTING THE IDLING
- This adjustment is to be realised with the engine
at its normal operating temperature (electro-
magnetic fan engaged).
Slacken the lock nut (13).
Act on the air bleed screw (14) to obtain an
engine speed of 800 to 850 r.p.m.
- Screw it in to decrease the engine speed.
- Screw it out to increase the engine speed.
- Retighten the lock nut (13).
WARNING - The 0.5 mm thick flat washer (15)
situated under the enrichener stop (which serves
to slightly richen the mixture during the running in)
must be removed after the first 1 ,000 km of
operation of a new or rebuilt engine.
