Preliminary conditions
• Rebui Id the mechanical assembly us mg clean
and foutless ports.
·Hold the front axle / engtne and rear cross
member

connecting tube ossembly exactly as
for removo

• Ensure that the rear crossmember 1 s lowered
as for as the holding apparatus will allow.
• Fit the rubber thrust cups

on the suspension
crossmember, making sure of their interchange·
ability.
• Smear them with pure T eepol.
· Install the hull on the mechanical assembly.
· Remove the following :
·connecting bor
D
holding both front springs.
• the steering box from the main crossmember.
·Simultaneously lower both hoist chains ond
guide the bodywork onto the mechan 1co I as·
sembly:
• at the rear :
the uppe r port 2 of the shock absorbers into
the bodywork comportme nts.
• at the front :
the spring upper supports 3 into the front wing
top valances.
