REAR AXLE
SUSPENSION ARMS
- Position a jock under the rear port of the arm
- Smear "T eepol" on the upper rubber thrust cup
to facilitate its installing
- Place the spring between its supports and raise
the arm making sure that the spring settles
correctly
- Fit the shock absorber installing new rubber
washers and a new metal cup and Nylstop nut.
- Tighten the upper nut to 9 ft.lbs ( 1.25 m.kg)
- Fit the bottom pivot without tightening it
- On Convertibles :
- use the .box spanner 91 and the rod holding
tool R
Tighten the Nylstop nut, using the Focom
torque wrench and a 16 mm open end head.
- Lower the jack and remove it
- Withdra w the two rods

- Disengage the arms from the crossmember yokes
