THROTTLE BODY — INSPECTION

Danger of consequent damage to engine! The

throttle body must not be re-machined! If the

throttle body is damaged or worn, it must be

replaced with a new part.

Check the throttle body for damage and

Check the bearing of the throttle shaft for

Wear of more than 0.1 mm (0.0039 in.) is not

permissible.

Check the throttle flap for damage.

Traces of wear up to a maximum of 0.05 mm

(0.0020 in.) in depth are permissible.

Check the evenness of the flat and con-

tact surfaces of the throttle body and bent

socket with respect to each other.
