Step Procedure
1 Check the bearing bushing for damage
and wear.
2 Check that the oil bore is clear.

STATOR ASSY. — INSPECTION
ATTENTION
Danger of consequent damage to engine! The
stator may not be repaired! If the stator or its
wiring is damaged or worn, it must be replaced
with a new part.
Step Procedure
1 Carry out a visual inspection of the stator
assy. and wiring, checking for damage
and wear.

FLY WHEEL ASSY. –INSPECTION
ATTENTION
Signs of wear on the magnet are not permissi-
ble! Damaged parts on the fly wheel are not
permissible!
Step Procedure
1 Carry out a visual inspection of the fly
wheel assy. and checking for damage
and wear.
CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
(CPS_1/CPS_2) — INSPECTION
To inspect the crankshaft position sensor see Chap-
ter 76-70-00 section Crankshaft position sensor
(CPS_1/CPS_2) — inspection.
