THROTTLE POTENTIOMETER (TPS) —
REMOVAL
Installation position: Throttle body
NOTE
The throttle potentiometer is not available as a
spare part.
Procedure
Step
1 Unplug the respective connector of the
wiring harness from the throttle potenti-
ometer. See Chapter 76-50-00 section

2 Remove the throttle body assy. To do this,
see Chapter 73-10-00 section Fuel pump
and distribution.

PRESSURE SENSOR (BPS) — REMOVAL
Installation position: Overboost valve
Step Procedure
1 Pull the respective connector of the wiring
harness out of the corresponding pres-
sure sensor (BPS).
2
Lift the latch and pull off.
3 Loosen the pressure sensor with an SW
21 open-ended spanner (or a similar tool)
and remove it.
4 Close the opening with the appropriate
protective plug.
