The trigger event is executed with the aid of the active edge of an
external trigger signal.
The trigger signal is supplied via the USER 1/2 connector.
The polarity, the trigger threshold and the input impedance of the trig-
ger input can be set in the "Connector" dialog.
Corresponds to the default state of this parameter.
The signal calculation starts simultaneously with the external trigger
event but because of the instrument's processing time the first sam-
ples are cut off and no signal is outputted. After the internal process-
ing time elapses, the output signal is synchronous to the trigger
event.
The signal output begins after the elapsing of the processing time and
starts with sample 0, i.e. the complete signal is outputted.
This mode is recommended for triggering of short signal sequences
with signal duration comparable to the processing time of the instru-
ment.
