Description
This option allows the Attendant to change the Direct Inward System
Access (D&A) security code that a caller must dial to access the
system.
Conditions
The DISA code cannot conflict with the numbering plan.

The DISA code is limited to a maximum of four digits.
l
The DISA code cannot be displayed.
l
An Attendant cannot delete the DISA code; it may only be de-
l
leted via Programming.
Programming
Select System Option 111 (At-rendant
l
Assign an access code to Feature Number 21 (Direct inward
l
System Access).
Assign an access code to Feature Number 18 (Attendant Func-
l
tion), usually ++ as indicated under Operation.
Operation
Dial ~7.
l
Dial the new l-, 2-, 3- or 4-digit DISA code.
l
If a new code is not entered, the existing code will remain in
l
effect.
Press the RELEASE button - the new DISA code is in effect.
