Description
Traffic measurements can be made on Generic 217 PBX systems, and
the results presented at an RS-232C port for subsequent printout on a
suitable output device (e.g., printer or magnetic tape unit). The types of
measurements made include the following:
Trunk Group peg usages
l
Incoming trunk peg counts and usages
l
Console traffic data counts
l
System elements usage data.
l
Information is accumulated during a 1 hour block, and is then available
for printout. The start time and number of consecutive data blocks
during each day is specified from the Attendant Console. The manner
in which the data is to be output is selected by system options. The
system can also provide traffic measurement data to an external agen-
cy by means of the .following two mutually exclusive features, pro-
grammable by the selection of the appropriate system option:
Polling by external devices
l
Automatic data printout.
l
