RAD from the Console:
Dial ~230.

Dial RAD equipment number.
l
Dial x to advance to next equipment number.

Press RELEASE to terminate.
l
To program a RAC from the console:
Dial ~231.
l
Dial RAC equipment number.
l
Dial JC to advance to next equipment number.
l
Press RELEASE to terminate.
l
If a RAD/RAC is already programmed there it can be deleted. To delete
a RAD/RAC, type # at this point.
To review all defined RADs and RACs:
Dial ~232.
l
Continue to dial * to advance to next RAD/RAC.
l
Press RELEASE to terminate.
l
The SOURCE display will show the equipment number in the left corner
and a 0 or 1 in the right corner to indicate a RAD or RAC, respectively.
To record a message on the MITEL
used:
Dial ~240.
l
Dial RAC equipment number.
l
Dial X.
l
When the attendant hears a 50 ms tone, the message may be
l
spoken into the handset. The recording can be up to 8 seconds
in duration. Press RELEASE to terminate.
To playback a recorded message from a RAC:
Dial ~241.
l
Dial RAC equipment number.
l
Dial X.
l
The message will be heard with handset; otherwise busy tone
l
will be heard if the recording is currently in use. Press RELEASE
to terminate.
The length of the messages on the devices in each Recording Group
must be specified:
Dial ~242.
l
Dial Recording Group Access code recording duration, in 2-digit
l
seconds. Press RELEASE to terminate.
