RECORDED ANNOUNCEMENTS
Description
The SX-lOO/SX-200 system supports two different recording units:
Recorded Announcement Cards and Recorded Announcement Devices.
These devices provide the following characteristics:
Recorded Announcement Card (RAC). This card occupies one

peripheral slot in the system and provides one or two different 8
second recordings using digital solid state storage. Messages
are recorded from the Attendant's console. A single message of
16 seconds may be stored on the RAC.
Recorded Announcement Devices (RADs). These customer pro-
l
vided tape recording devices connect to the system using a
standard Tip/Ring pair of a regular line circuit.
Conditions
Either a RAC or a RAD must be provided.
