In the event of power failure with no reserve power available, or
if the reserve power capability period is exceeded, the PBXs can
be arranged to automatically connect a maximum of 12 Central Office
trunks (six trunks for the SX-100 system) to preselected extensions.

In addition to the above power requirements and to prevent
loss of customer data in the event of a power failure, the
memory holding the data (non-volatile) is equipped with a reserve
power supply (Ni-Cad batteries) mounted on the shelf card.
