TRAFFIC MEASUREMENT SYSTEM OPTIONS
Description
Attendant Printer Control Enable. This option must be selected to enable the use
of the printer control commands xl4 (Table 6-3).
Traffic Measurement: Autoprint. This option must be selected if the traffic data is
to be output automatically at the end of each hour. See paragraph 6.02 and Note 1
below.
Traffic Measurement: Compact Traffic Report. If selected, this option causes the
traffic data to be output in a compact format; otherwise the standard format will be
used. See paragraph 3.08.
Console Function Enable (Traffic Measurement). This option must be enabled if
the functions xl30 to x133 are to be legal (Table 6-3). If it is not enabled then xl3
causes an error to be displayed. See also Note 2.
Traffic Measurement Enable. This option must be enabled for the Traffic Measure-
ment feature.
Traffic Measurement: Extreme Value Mode. This option must be selected if traffic
collection is to operate in "Extreme Value Mode". If this Option is not selected then
Standard Mode results. See paragraph 3.03.
Traffic Measurement: Polling. This option must be selected if the traffic data is to
be polled by an external device. See paragraph 4.03.
Ignore Print Enable. This option must be enabled if the attendant function code
x1400 or the maintenance function code 555 + 800 (see Table 6-3) is to be effec'
tive.
Printer Transmit Additional Nulls: This option must be selected if using the MITEL
Notes: 1. Printouts may be obtained by request of the console. See paragraphs 4.05 and Table
6-3.
2. By not enabling System Option 297 a Traffic Measurement run cannot be interrupted by
Console Function ~130 to x133. However, the option must be reselected before
traffic parameters can be changed or printing a report via the traffic utilities.
