APPENDIX C D
TIMS JOB SPECIFICATIONS
PRINT OPERATIONS
Billing Data Accumulation
The TIMS's most basic print is called "Immediate Print" which is the same text format as the in-
dividual station Call Record. See Example 1. "Immediate Print" text outputs when just after fin-
ished an outgoing call.
NOTE 1
Moreover, the billing data (Call Record data and /or Totaled Bill data) can be stored in the AP to
accumulate the station's call charge. See Example 10/11.
Since each billing data (Call Record/Totaled Bill data) occupies individual memory, if the system
is provided both the Call Record data accumulation and the Totaled Bill data accumulation, two
memories are needed for single outgoing call.
NOTE 2
When you provide the TIMS for a hotel, the billing data accumulation may be required to make
each guest station's total amount of call charges. And the total amount can be printed out by
term
check-out operation of the D
TIMS Terminal (Front Desk Terminal).
NOTE 3
For a business user, the billing data accumulation is necessary when they provide the group bill-
ing. The accumulated data of the group can be printed out by weekly (or monthly) automatic print,
term
and also, by the D
TIMS Terminal operation.
NOTE 4
You can specify the kind of calls to be stored, such as, international calls only, both toll calls and
international calls, or all outgoing calls. You can also specify which station's billing data are
stored, by means of class of service.
If the outgoing call traffic is high, it is important to omit unnecessary billing data, because the ca-
pacity of the AP memories are 1000.
