GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This feature provides the MAINTENANCE ADMINISTRATION TERMINAL (MAT) with the ability
to release and reconnect backup batteries from the system. This prevents an excessive discharge of the bat-
teries when a long-term power outage is planned (ex. building maintenance).

OPERATING PROCEDURE
Refer to the Maintenance Manual.
SERVICE CONDITIONS
1. This feature is available for both internal and external batteries.
2. This feature is effective on a system-wide basis (ex. all the batteries connected to the system are
released or reconnected at the same time, when this feature is activated).
3. If the system is initialized while in a battery-off state, the batteries are automatically reconnected to the
system.
