GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This service feature allows Attendants to transfer calls at their console to another Attendant's console
in systems where MULTIPLE CONSOLE OPERATION has been provided.

DESK CONSOLE
SMART CONSOLE
OPERATING PROCEDURE
To transfer from Attendant-A to Attendant-B:
1. Attendant-A dials feature access code, and Attendant-B number (0-7).
2. Call is indicated at Attendant-B.
3. Attendant-B depresses ANSWER key.
4. Attendant-A depresses RELEASE key to transfer, or may consult first, then release.
SERVICE CONDITIONS
1. A designated identification number is assigned to each console for the purpose of INTER-POSITION
TRANSFER access.
2. An Attendant can receive one INTER-POSITION TRANSFERRED call at a time. An INCOMING
CALL IDENTIFICATION key can be designated for receipt of these calls.
3. An Attendant cannot transfer a 2-party connection to another Attendant.
4. An Attendant can extended an inter-position transferred call to any other destination.
5. Night Connections: When Night Service is active, an Attendant position call to another Attendant can-
not be answered by the Night Service arrangements. The calling Attendant hears Reorder Tone.
