GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This feature permits a pair of station sets to be associated with one another on an automatic ringdown
basis.
STATION APPLICATION
All stations
OPERATING PROCEDURE
To place a HOT LINE call:
1. Station-A lifts handset.
2. Station-B is rung.
3. Station-B lifts handset; conversation proceeds.
SERVICE CONDITIONS
1. If both phones in a HOT LINE pair are equipped with dials, either one may TRANSFER - ALL
CALLS a HOT LINE call to another station.
2. There is 100 station (50 pair) HOT LINE stations.
3. HOT LINE assignments are programmed into system data via the MAINTENANCE ADMINISTRA-
TION TERMINAL (MAT) and CUSTOMER ADMINISTRATION TERMINAL (CAT).
4. The HOT LINE station will hear the Reorder Tone when the called station is in the following condi-
tions:
a. Busy
b. Lock-out
c. Make Busy
5. When the station called from the HOT LINE has activated CALL FORWARDING - BUSY LINE, the
call will be forwarded when the called station is busy.
6. When the station called from the HOT LINE has activated CALL FORWARDING - ALL CALLS, the
call will be forwarded.
7. The CALL FORWARDING - DON'T ANSWER can be activated for a call from HOT LINE.
