If 1 is input, the designated parallelogram becomes the unit of the mesh image. If 2
is input, a parallelogram whose size is half the four sides of the designated paral-
lelogram becomes the unit of the mesh image.

Click on the OK button; then the mesh is overlaid on the entire image.

Roughness

Analyzes surface roughness. The analysis result is displayed in a dedicated window
different from the Display window.
Designating Analysis Area
• Preview image
Preview of the analysis screen is displayed along with height information. The
analysis area is designated from this screen.
• Designating analysis area
Clicking the right button on the mouse from the preview screen displays a submenu.
Selecting Select area from the submenu displays a green square frame on the screen.
The size and position of this frame can be changed with the mouse. Surface rough-
ness analysis is conducted within the area designated by this frame.
To delete the analysis area, select Delete area from the submenu.
