６ ANALYSIS OPERATION
■ Save As (Ctrl+A)
You save data on a disk. The applicable data is the current data displayed in the Display
Window.
• File name
Enter filename of the file that you want to save.
When you enter filename and click on the Save button, the data will be saved.
• Save as type
Specify format for saving data. You can specify the following types of files.
SPM Image ( * .tif)
Compressed Image ( * .tif)
Binary Image ( * .bin)
Binary FFT (*.bfc)
ASCII Image ( * .asc)
ASCII FFT ( * .aft)
Header ( * .hdr)
SPM spectrum ( * .spc)
ASCII spectrum ( * .dat)

16-bit TIFF format for saving the SPM image
8-bit TIFF format for saving the SPM image
This type has compatibility with other application software which
cannot handle the 16-bit TIFF format.
16-bit binary format for saving data
16-bit binary format for saving FFT spectrum
ASCII format for saving data
ASCII format for saving FFT spectrum
ASCII format for saving FFT spectrum Contents of the SPM Data
Information window
Format for saving graph data such as I-V
ASCII format for saving graph data such as I-V
The graph data can be read into softwares such as a graph
processing software.
