If you want the interface to receive both versions of RIP, enter ip rip receive version 1 2.
ip rip send version
version
Set the interface to send a specific version of RIP. The version you set on the interface overrides the
version
command in the ROUTER RIP mode.
ip rip send version [1] [2]
To return to the default value, enter no ip rip send version.

To enable the interface to send both version of RIP packets, enter ip rip send version 1 2.
ip rip receive version
version
Enable split-horizon for RIP data on the interface. As described in RFC 2453, the split-horizon scheme
prevents any routes learned over a specific interface to be sent back out that interface.
ip split-horizon
To disable split-horizon, enter no ip split-horizon.
Sets the RIP version to be used for sending RIP traffic on an interface.
Sets the RIP version to be used for the switch software.
