Configure a port monitor source.
Syntax
source interface destination interface direction {rx | tx | both}
To disable a monitor source, use the no source interface destination interface direction {rx | tx
| both} command.
Parameters

A SONET port can only be configured as a monitored port.
Enter the one of the following keywords and slot/port information:
For a 1-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
GigabitEthernet
followed by the slot/port information.
For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet
For a SONET interface, enter the keyword
slot/port information.

Enter the keyword

: to monitor receiving packets only
tx
: to monitor transmitting packets only
both
: to monitor both transmitting and receiving packets
followed by the slot/port information.
