DOOR KEY LOCK AND UNLOCK
SWITCH INSPECTION
INSPECT DOOR KEY LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH
Continuity
Inspect the switch continuity between terminals.
Switch position
LOCK
UNLOCK
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
HINT: Door key lock and unlock switch is built into the
front door lock assembly.

INSPECT DOOR LOCK MOTOR
Motor Operation
(a) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to
terminal 2 and the negative (–) lead to terminal 4,
check that the door lock link moves to UNLOCK posi–
tion.
(b) Remove the polarity, check that the door lock link
move to LOCK position.
If operation is not as specified, replace the door lock
assembly.
