HINT:
Depress the brake pedal while the engine is run–
ning.
The brake pedal should not be depressed twice
and/or returned while setting to the specified
pressure. Read the value of rear pressure 2 sec–
onds after adjusting to the specified fluid pres–
sure.
4. IF NECESSARY, ADJUST FLUID PRESSURE
(a) Set the shaft length A to initial set length and tighten
the adjusting bolt lock nut.
Initial set length:
26.0 mm (1.02 in.)
(b) Check the rear brake fluid pressure.
(c) If not within the specification, adjust the fluid pres–
sure by changing the shaft length.
Low pressure–Lengthen A
High pressure–Shorten A
HINT:–For every full turn of the adjusting nut, the fluid
pressure will change as follows:
