Clutch Switch Circuit (5S–FE MT Vehicles)

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
When the clutch pedal is depressed, the clutch switch sends a signal to the ECU, when this signal is
input to the ECU during cruise control driving, the ECU cancels cruise control.
DIAGNOSTIC CHART
Check operation of starter.
Input signal check.
Check voltage between terminal N & C
of cruise control ECU connector ECU
connector and body ground.
Check for open in harness and
connector between terminal N & C of
cruise control ECU and clutch switch.

Check and replace cruise control ECU.
