BRAKE SYSTEM – PARKING BRAKE
PARKING BRAKE INTERMEDIATE LEVER
DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY
Remove and install the parts as shown.
MAIN POINT OF INTERMEDIATE LEVER
INSTALLATION
MEASURE CLEARANCE BETWEEN INTERMEDIATE
LEVER SHAFT AND LEVER
Using a feeler gauge, measure the clearance.
Standard clearance:
0.09–0.5 mm (0.004–0.02 in.)
If the clearance is not within the specification, replace
the shim with one of the correct size.
Shim Thickness
0.3 mm (0.012 in.)
0.6 mm (0.024 in.)
0.9 mm (0.035 in.)

1.5 mm (0.059 in.)
1.8 mm (0.071 in.)
