INSPECTION PROCEDURE
Measure voltage between terminal S P D of combination meter
connector and body ground.
Measure voltage between terminals SPD and E, of ECM.
Check and repair harness or connector between com
bination meter and ECM.
AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE –
(a) Shift the shift lever to N position.
(b) Jack up one of the front wheels.
(c) Disconnect the cruise control ECU and PPS
(d) Turn IG switch ON.
Measure voltage between terminal SPD of com–
bination meter connector and body ground when
slowly turning the Jack up wheel.
Voltage:
NG1
NG2
(1) Disconnect combination meter and cruise
(2) Turn IG switch ON.
(3) Measure voltage between terminals SPD
Voltage: 4–6 V
TROUBLESHOOTING
connectors.
Constantly 0 V...... Go to Next Step
Constantly 4–6 V...... Go to NG 1
Changes 0 V H 4 H 6 V ..... Go to N G 2
Check combination meter circuit.
See combination meter troubleshooting.
Replace ECM.
control ECU connectors.
and E, of ECM connector.
Replace ECM.
