BRAKE SYSTEM – REAR BRAKE(Parking Brake for Rear Disc Brake)
9. INSTALL DISC BRAKE ASSEMBLY
Install the disc brake assembly and torque the 2 mot
nting bolts.
Torque: 47 N–m (475 kgf–cm, 34 ft–lbf)
10. INSTALL REAR WHEEL
11. SETTLING PARKING BRAKE SHOES AND DISC
(a) LEVER TYPE:
With the parking brake release button pushed in, pull
the lever with 98 N (10 kgf, 22 lbf) of force.
(b) PEDAL TYPE:
Depress the parking brake pedal with 147 N (15 kgf,
33 lbf).
(c) Drive the vehicle at about 50 km/h (31 mph) on a safe,
level and dry road.
(d) Drive the vehicle for about 400 meters (0.25 mile) in
this condition.
(e) Repeat this procedure 2 or 3 times.
