Main Switch Circuit (Cruise Control Switch)
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
When the cruise control main switch is turned oft, the cruise control does not operate.
DIAGNOSTIC CHART
Check voltage between terminals CMS
and GND of cruise control ECU
connector.
Check main switch.
Check harness and connector between
cruise control ECU and main switch,
main switch and body ground.
Check and replace cruise control ECU.
WIRING DIAGRAM
BODY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM – CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM
Proceed to next circuit
inspection shown on matrix
chart (See page BE–178).
Replace cruise control switch.
Repair or replace harness or
connector.
