CAUTION:
DDM-2000 circuit packs contain static sensitive components
which can be damaged by electrostatic discharge. A static
ground wrist strap must be worn when handling the circuit
packs. See electrostatic discharge considerations in Trouble
Clearing: TAD-100 .
NOTE:
If the DDM-2000 fails to respond in the indicated manner,
refer to Trouble Clearing: IXL-001 in the appropriate
DDM-2000/FT-2000 documentation.
NOTE:
It is assumed that the DDM-2000 or FT-2000 systems have
been established in required individual ring configurations.
Ring TARP Release 13 or later software is required in each
DDM-2000 OC-3 shelf. Ring TARP Release 7 or later
software is required in each DDM-2000 OC-12 shelf. Ring
TARP Release 8 or later software is required in each
FT-2000 shelf. If OLIUs have already been installed in the
function unit slots and the systems established in a DRI
configuration using OC-3/IS-3 connections, go to Step 15 to
establish new service. Otherwise, continue with this
procedure to establish the initial DRI configuration.
