NOTE:
The OC-3 shelf's rear access CIT port is configured for a modem. A null
modem adapter is required to use this port with the PC. The cable from
the CIT port on the DDM-2000 shelf must be connected to the COM1 or
COM2 RS-232 port of the PC.
Connect PC to front CIT port by connecting one end of an RS-232 cable to the
COM ( ) of the PC and the other end of the cable to the front or rear CIT port
in OC-3.

NOTE:
The FE ID display on the remote SYSCTL, must show on of the following,
preceding software installation. If other conditions appear, they would
represent failure conditions that will not allow a remote software
download.
• If the cpy-prog: command encounters a "P." in the target NE during
initial handshake (before the cpy-prog: command is confirmed),
the request is denied and the following denial message is displayed
at the source NE. You may be able to download software from
another shelf or locally.
