NOTE:
The software to be remotely copied is a non-executing, dormant copy of
the IMA LAN software generic.The apply command is used later to
overwrite the currently executing generic in the addressed IMA LAN
circuit pack(s) with a copy of the generic included in the dormant
software.
NOTE:
Starting with OC-3 Release 15.0, if an apply command is issued, the
user will be prompted for Program Type with a value of either nesw (for
NE software generic) or lansw (for IMA LAN software generic).

Are you using ins-prog: or cpy-prog: command to download software to
far-end shelf?
If CPY-PROG, then continue with Step 8.
If INS-PROG, then proceed to Step 16.

CAUTION:
Only one cpy-prog: procedure at a time should be performed in the
same maintenance subnetwork. Simultaneous cpy-prog: procedures
in the same network may fail.
Connect and establish session with local shelf being used as a source for the
new remote program download.

Use rtrv-map-network command to retrieve the tid of the shelf having
the new program installed.

NOTE:
If the cpy-prog: command is denied for any reason, the reader should
reference the command documentation, so that the appropriate actions
are taken.
