NOTE:
The checkpgm command may take several seconds to complete.
Execute the checkpgm command to check the version number of the
program you are installing and install each diskette when prompted.

NOTE:
The cable from the CIT port on the DDM-2000 shelf must be connected
to the COM1 or COM2 RS-232 port of the PC. If a "P" or "d" is displayed
in the FE ID display, the PC must be connected to the front CIT port.
Connect PC to CIT port by connecting one end of an RS-232 cable to the
COM ( ) of the PC and the other end of the cable to the front or rear CIT port
on the OC-3 shelf.
11. The FE ID display on the SYSCTL will show on of the following, preceding
software installation. Note the indication and follow the suggested procedure.
A.
If nothing is displayed in the FE ID display, this indicates that
compatible software is installed on the OHCTL and SYSCTL.
• Continue with Step 12.
B.
If the letter "P" is displayed in the FE ID display, this indicates that it is a
NE SW generic download issue.
• Refer to DLP-532.
C. If the letter "d" is displayed in the FE ID display, this indicates that the
SYSCTL has incompatible software.
• Refer to DLP-532.
