48. Is FAULT LED lighted on any DS1/DS1PM circuit pack?
If YES, then continue with Step 49.
If NO, then proceed to Step 53.
49. Check switch settings on DS1/DS1PM circuit pack (with lighted FAULT LED)
for correct line code settings. If circuit pack has been replaced, check if
settings are the same as they were before the circuit pack was replaced.

50. Are switch settings correct?
If YES, then do TAP-103.
If NO, then continue with Step 51.
51. Change switch settings to the correct settings. If switch settings are to be
changed from what they were previously, update the equipment list by
momentarily depressing the UPD/INIT button on the SYSCTL after the circuit
pack is reinstalled.
52. STOP. YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
53. Is there an inc. VT AIS alarm indication?
If YES, then do TAP-120.
If NO, then do TAP-103.

NOTE:
Alarm may be caused by circuit packs inserted into the wrong slots or by
invalid or wrong switch settings on the TGS/TG3 circuit packs.
Are circuit packs installed in the correct slots?
If YES, then proceed to Step 57.
If NO, then continue with Step 55.
55. Remove circuit packs from wrong slots, check option switches (DLP-513) and
reinstall circuit packs into the correct slots.
56. STOP. YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
