A –48 volt power feeder or a fuse on the user panel
has failed. (FA or FB LED identifies failure.)
The AC power supply to a remote terminal cabinet
has failed.
The parallel telemetry outputs and audible office
alarms normally active due to the alarm conditions
in the system are being suppressed. (See the
opr-aco command.)
A remote network element (NE) cannot establish
and NE status association with an alarm gateway
network element (AGNE). The alarm is also
declared by an AGNE that can not establish an NE
status association with one or more NEs in its
alarm group.
Likely cause: The AGNE has not been assigned in
an alarm group. The AGNE and NEs are assigned
different alarm group numbers.
The service associated with a DS1/DS1PM circuit
pack has been automatically switched and locked
onto the protection DS1/DS1PM circuit pack. The
automatic protection switching (APS) lock will
remain active until midnight.
Likely cause: Four automatic switches of a single
DS1/DS1PM circuit pack in 10 minutes, probably
because of an intermittent failure of the
DS1/DS1PM circuit pack.
