NOTE:
The following commands may be used to convert, delete,
enter, and retrieve cross-connections: cnvt-crs,
dlt-crs-sts, dlt-crs-vt1, ent-crs-sts1,
ent-crs-vt1, rtrv-crs-sts1, and rtrv-crs-vt1.
See the Commands and Reports section of this manual for a
description of commands. See Cross-Connection
Provisioning in the Administration and Provisioning section
of this manual for more information on cross-connection
provisioning.
Use the dlt-crs-sts1: or dlt-crs-vt1: command to delete
cross-connections associated with all DS1/DS1PM circuit packs
being removed.
7. Remove the DS1/DS1PM circuit packs from group being
converted to EC-1 service.
8. Remove the MXRVO circuit packs from group being converted to
EC-1 service.
9. Momentarily depress the UPD/INIT button on the SYSCTL to
update the DDM-2000 internal equipment list.
10. Verify that all alarms are off.
11. Set the S1 switch on the STS1E circuit pack to LOW-SPEED
operating mode ("I or III" position).

NOTE:
DS1/DS1PM circuit packs cannot be installed in a group
that is equipped with STS1E circuit packs.
Set line build out (LBO) option jumpers and install STS1E circuit
packs into FUNCTION UNITS group (A, B, or C) being put into
service.
13. Use the set-ec1: command to set the characteristics of the
EC-1 port.
