The following points must be observed when connecting NTs with the S30267-Z57-Axxx cable:
The cable routed from the NT to Hicom 150 E OfficePro must be kept as short as possible for
operating reasons.
Hicom 150 E OfficePro must always be earthed (independent of the type of line used by the
network provider (copper or optical fibres)) (see 1 TR 211 item 2.4 Protective measures and
earthing). The diameter of the earth conductor must be at least 2.5 mm
means of sheath wires is not sufficient.
The earth connection from the NT to Hicom 150 E-M must be kept as short as possible for
operating reasons.
Caution
In order to guarantee successful operation, you must ensure that the NT is earthed on
the network provider side.
Power feeding
- The following information applies to systems which are supplied with power from the mains
only (without USVI) (see
Power is supplied via an external plug-type AC power supply unit (S30122-K5061-X
8/8 socket (L30460-X951-X = exposed, L30460-X952-X = concealed, L30460-X958-X
exposed/concealed) is required to connect this plug-type AC power supply unit.
The external plug-type AC power supply unit must be connected to the same mains phase as the
system and the positive pole plug-type AC power supply unit must be connected to the system
earth.
