10.3.1 Memo for Hicom

Requirements
Two free a/b ports must be available.
General
Memo for Hicom is connected to Hicom 150 E Office via two analog subscriber ports.
Entering the "PhoneMail" extension type adapts the behaviour of the a/b port to Memo. Memo
answers a queued call.
Hicom 150 E Office then transmits a DTMF sequence containing, for example, the extension from
which the call was made and whether the call has been redirected or forwarded.
Memo then informs the subscribers that a message has been received by transmitting the DTMF
signal *68 <extension number> 0.
When the password "# 5 9 5" is entered in the technician menu (wrench) for Memo, the DTMF signals
are also logged in the upper left-hand corner.
Configuration notes
1. Enter the ports as "PhoneMail" (2) under "Extension Type" (14 11).
2. A linear hunt group is set up for the two ports (16 15 1/2).
3. Assign a name to the hunt group (16 15 3).
4. You should also assign a name to each subscriber port (14 12).
5. Enter the hunt group as destination 1 in a free call destination list (16 18 1).
6. In each call forwarding - no answer list (internal / day / night), the reference for the two PhoneMail
ports is changed to this new call destination list (16 18 2 to 4)
