7.2.5 Call Forwarding (CFW)

Definition
Call forwarding enables you to forward all incoming calls (including voice calls) to another
destination. Call forwarding is implemented on an extension number basis, regardless of how the call
reached the activating terminal. If line keys have been configured, CFW can also be activated
individually for a specific line key. The following destinations are possible:
Another subscriber extension
The attendant console
An external destination
A voice messaging system
A hunt group
The user is notified when "call forwarding" is activated on a telephone. This can be in the form of a
special dial tone, an indication on the display or an LED signal.
Outgoing calls can continue to be made when call forwarding is activated.
