3.2 Central boards

Introduction

The CBFC (central board flatpack compact) is the central board for the OfficePoint and OfficeCom

models. The board offers the following features and outputs:

Signalling unit SIU

PCM highway switching and conference circuit

Real-time clock with NC battery

Disconnecting the buffer battery on the CBFC by removing the jumper is necessary

for test purposes only. This process does not necessarily delete the customer database.

A reload must be performed for this.

Digital subscriber line interfaces U

Analog subscriber line interfaces a/b

Connection of slots 1and 2 for extension boards via CUC/CUF

Extension board (for connection of extension boards)

O bus (option bus)

V.24 interfaces

Flash memory card (FMC) APS and boot

Integrated modem card (IMOD)

Switches and displays

CBFC interfaces
