If DSS is attached, check the
status of the feature.
The red LED indicates the following:
on = jack connects to fax machine
off = jack provides another purpose
Specify whether the station
jack is used to connect
a fax machine.
When all entries are complete,
return to the Fax menu.
Select Message Waiting.
Specify the fax machine
sending message-waiting
indication in one of the
following ways:
Extension number
Slot and port number
Logical ID number
DSS
Save your entry.
On the console
Toggle the LED On/Off,
as required.
Select Enter
or Delete.
Select Exit.
Select Msg Waiting.
Dial [nnnn].
Dial [sspp].
Dial #[nnn],
Press DSS button.
Select Enter.
On the PC
[F10] [F8]
Press or
[F5]
Press
[F2]
Press
Type [nnnn],
Type [sspp].
Type #[nnn].
[F10]
