If the OUT OF ENVIRONMENT SPACE error message appears on the
screen, refer to the shell command in your DOS manual.
The installation procedure automatically does the following:
Checks available space on the hard disk. Installation terminates with an
error message if the space is insufficient.
Checks permissions on the autoexec.bat and config.sys files.
Installation terminates with an error message if either file is write-
protected.
Saves a copy of autoexec.bat as autoexec.old.
Saves a copy of config.sys as config.old.
If autoexec.bat has not already been configured for SPM, does the
following:
