Specify the extension you want
to label in one of the following
ways:
Extension number
Slot and port number
Logical ID number
DSS
Save your entry.
xxxx = number entered in Step 5
AAAAAAA = currenl Iabel for extension
entered in Step 5
Erase current label.
Enter label for extension.
Save your entry.
To return to System
Programming menu
3-558 Extension Directory
On the console
Dial [nnnn]
Dial [sspp]
Dial #[nnn]
Press DSS button.
Select Enter.
Press Drop.
Enter the label. Use
Punctuation to toggle
between letters and
punctuation.
Select Enter.
Select Exit
three times.
On the PC
Type [nnnn]
Type [sspp]
Type #[nnn]
[F10]
Press
[Alt] [P]
Press +
Type the label.
[F6]
Press
[F6], [F10]
Note: not
[F5]
Press
three times.
