Special tools and workshop equipment required
♦ Locking pin - T10060 A-
Removing
– To slacken poly V-belt, turn tensioner in anti-clockwise direc‐
tion -arrow-.
– Lock tensioner with locking pin - T10060 A- .
Note
If a used poly V-belt runs in the opposite direction when it is
refitted, this can cause breakage.
Before removing the Poly-V belt, mark the direction of rotation
with chalk or felt-tipped pen for re-installation.
– Remove the V-ribbed belt.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Please note the
following:
– Install the poly V-belt as depicted in the illustration:

Tensioner for poly V-belt

Alternator
