4-cylinder petrol engine (1.2 l direct injection, 4 V, turbocharger, EA211) - Edition 02.2017
– Cut off nozzle tube at the front marking (∅ of nozzle approx.
3mm).
– Apply silicone sealant to clean sealing surface of sump as
shown.
The strip of sealant must:
♦ 2...3 mm thick.
♦ Run bead along inner side of bolt holes -arrows-.
Note
The sealant bead must not be thicker. Otherwise the excess seal‐
ant may enter the oil sump, and obstruct the strainer in the oil
intake pipe.
– Fit sump immediately and lightly tighten all sump securing
bolts.
– Tighten the new oil sump bolts with the corresponding torque.
– Tighten the gearbox bolts.
Note
Let sealing compound dry for approx. 30 minutes after installing
oil sump. Only then should the engine be refilled with oil.
– Fill oil filter with engine oil and tighten it with oil filter tool -
3417- .
– Fill engine oil.

air conditioner compressor from the bracket and installing it in
the bracket
Fit poly V-belt ⇒ page 38
Continue installation following reverse order for removing.
