– Remove sealant residues on sump with a rotating brush, e.g.
an electric drill with plastic brush attachment (wear eye pro‐
tection).
– Clean sealing surfaces. They must be free of oil and grease.
Installation
Note
Observe use-by date of sealant.

The sump must be installed within 5 minutes after applying the

silicone sealant.
To help when fitting the oil sump, threaded pins M6 may be

inserted in 2 points in the cylinder block flange.
