The function does not have any parameters available in the local HMI or PCM600.
Operation principle
When receiving the input signals, DPGAPC sends the signals over IEC 61850-8-1 to
the systems, equipment or functions that requests and thus subscribes on these signals.
To be able to get the signals into other systems, equipment or functions, one must use
other tools, described in the Engineering manual, and define which function block in
which systems, equipment or functions should receive this information.
More specifically, DPGAPC function reports a combined double point position
indication output POSITION, by evaluating the value and the timestamp attributes of
the inputs OPEN and CLOSE, together with the logical input signal VALID.
When the input signal VALID is active, the values of the OPEN and CLOSE inputs
determine the two-bit integer value of the output POSITION. The timestamp of the
output POSITION will have the latest updated timestamp of the inputs OPEN and
CLOSE.
When the input signal VALID is inactive, DPGAPC function forces the position to
intermediated state.
When the value of the input signal VALID changes, the timestamp of the output
POSITION will be updated as the time when DPGAPC function detects the change.
