The unit receives data and commands from the slave unit as the master. Because the
slave transfers the message length field in the case of master reception, indicate the
message length of data to be transmitted to the slave, such as during other
communication. Read the received data one byte at a time by using data interrupts.

After specifying the initial settings in 22.5.2 Initial settings, set up the registers
below before starting communication.
